Story-Plot (Spoiler alert)

It is a typical horror movie with four characters Vibhooti (Vibhu), Chironji (Chiku), Kanika (Kanu), and Maya. Vibhu and Chiku are two brothers who pretend to be ghost fighters but actually, they cheat with others. Vibhu personally doesn’t believe in ghosts and black magic practices on the other hand Chiku strongly believes in spirits and ghosts. Chiku has a book about his father who was a great ghost fighter, the whole book is about black magic, spirits, and ghosts.

At Spirit Carnival, Maya along with Vibhu and Chiku go to her village. The brothers run from the carnival because of the fear of inspector Chemical. Maya is very worried because of the ghost of kichadi in her village. The brothers decide to look at that village. In the village the fourth character joins the plot; she is Kanu (Kanika) and the sister of Maya. Kanu doesn’t believe in ghosts or ghost fighters.

The brothers discovered that their father trapped that kichadi in a Pot that he buried under the specific tree of that village. Both went to the tree and extracted the pot but Vibhu who doesn’t believe in spirits intentionally breaks the pot and there is a bone in that pot. They thought that their father was a cheater just like them.

The Kanu was the person behind that kichkandi ghost because she wants to sell the land of the village to go to London but her sister Maya doesn’t want her to do this. And hence Kanu was the mastermind behind all the troubles in the village. But the brothers free the real kichkandi. Then the movie goes up and down and ends with the story of kichadi.

Lead Role

Saif Ali Khan (Vibhu), Arjun Kapoor (Chiku), Yami Gautum (Maya), and Jacqueline Fernandez (Kanika) are in lead roles. Saif Ali Khan really suits the character Vibhu, his flirting with Kanika (Jacqueline) and comical dialogues are really good. Arjun Kapoor, his brother in movies also did a good job. The amazing serious horror is only possible because of the acting of Yami Gautum. She changed the comical mood to a serious and horror mood. The fourth character Kanika as Jacqueline also did a nice job, her screen time is less. She is just a supporting character, her glamour is needed for comical plots.

Ultimately all did their good job and created a comical point of view and a horrific point of view in the movie.

Bhoot Police Movie Review (3/5)

Bhoot Police Movie Review As the movie promises comedy and horror, it delivers both. Yet, it is very difficult for the director and team both to make a horror movie with some comedy flashes but it delivers both. Unlike the south-Indian movies like Kanchana, which is a brilliant blend of both comedy and horror with beautiful messages for society about the human rights of Transgender. The quality of delivering comedy in Bhoot Police is very low as compared to its horror aspect.

It’s not that movie in which there is an intense horror or intense comedy but it is just an entertaining movie, nothing special or unique is done. The movie is plain and simple. There is a single twist in the end where the start of the real ghost comes.

Overall the movie is entertaining, Vibhu’s comical dialogues, Chiku’s emotional aspects, and love for Maya and Maya’s seriousness and horrific roles all are good. This is the whole movie in a nutshell. Nothing out of the box happens, the movie gives you just entertainment. Nothing special in its VFX or horrific scene.

Production

The production quality is very good and the graphics also match with the theme of the movie. Ultimately the movie gives you full quality entertainment (don’t expect much horror or much comedy from the film).

Sound tracks

The music is given by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics are written by Kumaar and Priya Saraiya.

The background music of the movie is static, giving horror vibes not that much as in other horror movies but in appropriate amounts. There are three songs in the movie that attract the audience. The composition of all the songs is nice.

Almost everyone is saying that movie is entertaining but not that impressive. Same conditions with its songs, they are also entertaining but not much impressive.
