Thor: Love and Thunder is an upcoming American movie featuring the legendary god Thor, based on Marvel comics. The movie is scheduled to officially release on the 6th of May 2022. The movie will be a part of Marvel’s fourth phase and is the 29th movie of MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Thor: Love and Thunder are produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Taika Waititi is the director and again Taika Waititi himself with co-writer Jennifer Kaytin Robinson wrote the story.
The movie is inspired by Mighty Thor and the director and writer Taika Waititi himself confirmed that they use a lot of elements from the Mighty Thor comic.
This movie will be the Fourth sequel of Marvel’s Thor. Before it, there are three back-to-back sequels which are Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Thor: Ragnarok. Only the logo of the movie is officially released. There is no trailer or teaser released till now.

Release Date
Initially, in July 2019, the president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige officially announced the releasing date of Thor: Love and Thunder as 5th of November 2021. But later the date was extended to 18th of February 2022 for Covid pandemic reasons and again delayed to set March 2022 but finally fixed the schedule to 6th of May 2022.

Intended Story-plot
As the movie Thor: Love and Thunder itself reveal that it will be a romantic movie along with a storyline. It is quite predictable. As the director (and co-writer of the movie) said that the movie adopted some elements from Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic books and according to it, Thor’s ex-girlfriend Jane Foster is suffering from cancer. During its treatment, she gained superpowers the same as Thor and she became Mighty Thor, a new version of female Thor with the power of stunning thunder.
The most unpredictable thing is whether Thor is present as the fatty Thor of Endgame or the Bro God Thor. It simply affects the storyline as it totally decides the timeline of the story. Whether the story is before Endgame or After Endgame.
Also, the director himself announced that the movie will be more romantic and hence the craziest movie ever created by him.
In the movie, Thor: The Dark World, the reality stone (One of the infinity stones that controls reality in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) is absorbed in the body of Jane Foster and she becomes sick. Thor lets her in Asgard but the elves try to snatch the stone that is absorbed in Foster’s body. Later the stone is separated by her body. It was the only role for Foster (Natalie Portman) in the movie Dark World.
According to Mighty Thor comics, the Foster will become the Female version of Thor. Foster is suffering from cancer and during treatment, he gained superpowers the same as Thor and she became Mighty Thor. The director said that while making Ragnarok, he was reading Agron’s Mighty Thor comic books and he was deeply influenced by the comic.
Music
There is nothing officially coming about the music and music composer of this film. According to Wendy Dio (Widow of band member Ronnie James Dio), the “Rainbow in the Dark” song is featured in the film.
