Wedding Season Movie Review-After being brought together by their parents in the context of an arranged marriage arrangement, two people decide to pretend that they are dating in order to alleviate the pressure that is being put on them to be married.
In this soulless romantic comedy available on Netflix, a pair of Indian American businesspeople pretend to be amorous over a spate of weddings so that they might placate their mothers.
Asha (Pallavi Sharda) couldn’t remember a time when she felt more alive than after she called off her engagement, quit her well-established banking profession in the city, and relocated to New Jersey for a new beginning. Her mother, on the other hand, is of the opinion that her eldest daughter is in danger of missing out on a lifetime of happiness if she does not redirect her attention away from her new position at a startup company and into the pursuit of a life partner instead.

Gradually, they will realize that they may have more in common with one another than they initially believed. Perhaps their parents did have something important to teach them after all.

Summing up
The conventions of the genre are adhered to really well in Wedding Season, and as a result, the payoff is on the enjoyable side of the spectrum. It is exactly what the doctor prescribed, particularly if you have just finished watching a show in which a nightmare serial killer squelches through the eyeballs of his victims. In such cases, it is just what the doctor ordered.
It’s not terrible for a one-time viewing on a day off.
